Well, I'm probably the worst decision-maker in the history of women. If you were to ask my husband, and please don't...., he would have plenty of stories of how long I have stood in the bodywash section of Wal-Mart, searching for that "perfect" scent that isn't too strong or too flowery. (By-the-way....WHY don't they just make soap that smells like clean soap?? Why do I have to choose between smelling like a batch of break n' bake cookies or a funeral flower?) It's sooooo hard for me to decide when faced with several choices...especially if they're all sub-par choices.
"Everydayness" is chock-full of choices. What will I make for dinner? Where am I going to stop for gas? But the biggest choice of all is choosing to live for real....to live for God and his purpose. Each of you has a very special set of spiritual gifts that are uniquely given by our heavenly Father. He already has a path set up for you with arrows and better-than-mapquest directions. It's our choice to follow the Leader, or ditch out on our own excursion. Don't miss your signs today! Who knows where they might lead? :)
"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.' " Isaiah 30:21
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3

Another really good one, Ariel! Meanwhile, I've been slacking on posting the 'Acts' -
*Acts 2:14-41
*Acts 2:41-47
*Acts 3
I love this blog :). Just wondering - did anyone end up sifting through the huge PDF I sent out from the Bible study about the Bible? Just wondered - I was blown away by some of the statistics in that, regarding the accuracy of copies of the Bible. It's nice that you don't have to take it for granted, the evidence speaks for itself. If y'all liked it, there are a couple of other installments that I think are pretty good, I could pass them along.
And while Ariel is speaking of choosing to use spiritual gifts, I'll be stepping out of my comfort zone this week to teach around 80 people how to use all of our new software we're getting this week - I hope teaching is one of my gifts!
Yay! Bethany, I'm so glad you're going to teach...I think that would be a very strong gift of yours. I found that PDF file to be really interesting. And, good timing...our small group was studying how many Christians "hate" scientists and think science should be completely seperate from the Bible. I think it's totally fascinating how the two fit hand-in-hand!
Ah, friends! How is that we are half -a-country away and yet are thinking on the same verse?! I love it when the Lord does that! Indeed, we have a choice everyday to put Him first and seek His will for our lives. No one, least of all Jesus, said it would be easy. That's why I'm so glad we're walking through life's choices together. Thanks for keeping us encouraged, Ariel! I thank God for you girls!! Love you! ~ MLH
